Woman as a Grandmother

Grandmother - the term itself tells a lot whether its devotion, sacrifice or something else,her value doubles when woman becomes grandmother. Have you noticed the happiness on her smile when she hears the first time news that she has become the grand mother, its the best happening in her life.

Through her vast experience of living things and culture she passes on her recommendations every now and then to children's and family members. This helps young children's to learn about their culture, dealing with daily life and to differentiate between good and bad things. The other family members gets guidance in taking wise decision in critical matters and way to handle responsibilities. At this stage she likes to watch their nephews and cousins growing and learning. If you closely watch the children's belongingness for them, its sometimes more than a father or mother. Often children obey their grandmother more than other family members. At times we also see that she spends a lot for children whether its toys, food or clothes. On festivals or occasion we can see her happiness in giving away presents and other things. She enjoys in giving rather than having something for herself. She is becoming old but her thoughts and decisions are still helpful for a family.

We all are really blessed to have such great 'Grandmothers'!
