International Womens Day 2009

A global womans day was celebrated on 8th March 2009. Around 963 events were held across the 62 countries. It was a celebration of economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. International women's day is being celebrated since early 1900's.

The United States even designates the whole month of March as 'Women's History Month'. Do you know New Zealand was the first country in the world to give women the right to vote. It should be noted that the first international women's day was launched 19 March and not 8 March. Every year an effort is made to ensure that the future for girls is bright, equal, safe and rewarding. Its really great time to honor the great woman who have been making everyone's day more merrier.

Whether its office or home she is moving forward to manage the things in right way. Keeping focused and delivering value is not an easy task, especially when you to have to act differently, hold your behavior and manage your attitude all at same time. Whether its professional or home, balancing the right time and effort is not everybody's job. Moreover you have to meet up to expectations of so many people.

So we should encourage and support the woman in every way we can. Be it in some or the other way at home or office, our little attention and sharing of work can bring more happiness in our life. Do help them and appreciate their strengths in every walks of life.

Woman Faces More Heart Attacks

Over the past years, researchers have found that a major percentage of death rate in woman is more as compared to man. After carrying out analysis they also come to know that a group of women who have a type of heart attack called STEMI i.e. ST elevation myocardial infarction is usually caused by a complete blockage of a coronary artery.

A number of times doctors treating heart the attack patients takes differently if its a woman or men. In case of women they take some time to give aspirin, beta blockers, angioplasty etc. Sometimes these differentiation of treatment can lead to severe circumstances. Moreover the problem is actually with real diagnosis. When women says that she has pain in chest or something else many doctors just see it as normal pain or something else. Also in women there can be a possibility of unvisualized symptoms. So its always good not to take such things in light way.

Although we have gone quite high in understanding these heart attacks in woman but still a thorough diagnosis and timely treatment can help in keeping womans health to the top.
